Put executive selection on coordinates.

A proven performer stalls the moment they reach the board. An outsider, once trusted, transforms the organisation. For decades that gap has been filed under one word — “calibre.” The Quantum Spacetime Strategy OS turns that word into coordinates. Who, in which seat, and when — computed as a single question.

Make fortune a matter of design. Raise the probability of success.
Success is defined by the client — and the decision is designed from that definition.

Where Mismatch Occurs

Three overlaps decide an appointment

01

Calibre and role

A track record measures output in the last role. Whether that strength carries into the next depends on how the person meshes with the role's type.

02

The pairing in succession

Predecessor and successor, founder and right hand, CEO and adviser. The pairing alone changes what the same person delivers.

03

The timing of appointment

Appoint the same person in a different year, and the first three years unfold differently. Some phases call for advance; others for consolidation.

Performance reviews record results in roles already held. 360-degree feedback captures how a person is seen today. Both are rigorous, and both rightly anchor any appointment. Yet both portray the person in the current seat. An appointment asks something else: what this person will deliver in the next seat, and how the decade of carrying it will unfold. That question needs a framework built for the decision itself.

The Coordinate

Put the decision on coordinates

Conventional frameworks plot a decision on a single line from past to future. The OS adds three coordinates — person, time and space. Eight systems are built in as the rules that compute them.

Person

Capacity

The type of calibre — command, expansion, design or succession. This layer defines the role type in which a person's strength peaks.

Time

Timing

When to appoint, when to hand over. A decade for growth, a decade for preparation — the same person starts differently depending on when the seat is entrusted.

Space

Position

Headquarters or front line, home market or overseas, core business or new venture. This layer adds where the person stands.

On these coordinates, what was called calibre becomes the overlap of person, role and time — a non-linear overlap in which several axes act at once. Appointment and succession are both the act of choosing a position within it.

Input

One input: date of birth and sex

InputDate of birth and sex — nothing more
AnalysisOne core analysis, cross-validated across up to eight systems
IntegrationPerson × Time × Space, converged into five axes
OutputExecutive fit · successor ranking · timing of appointment · leadership pairing

Career history, questionnaires and interview impressions stay outside the input. With nothing resting on self-report, every candidate stands on the same standard. The same input yields the same structure, whoever runs it.

Output

What the decision receives

Executive fitSuccessor rankingTiming of appointmentLeadership pairingArc of the tenure

Executive fit is shown as a role type: command, expansion, design or succession. Successor ranking sets candidates on one standard and shows how each meshes with the role. The timing of appointment is laid out year by year as phases to advance and phases to consolidate. Leadership pairing is output as the structure of complement and friction between two people — CEO and adviser, predecessor and successor. The arc of the tenure appears as a timeline of turning points across the term.

The question is who sits in which seat. A judgement one leader carries alone becomes the judgement of the organisation. The axis of judgement stands outside every interest — which is precisely why the organisation accepts it.

Research Case

When wealth erodes judgement

Even the strongest credentials can rest on a structure in which judgement and character decline as wealth grows. The chart of management thinker Tom Peters carries two such configurations side by side. After his signature book sold far beyond expectation, the integrity of its data came into question.

This structure is identifiable before appointment. The real question is who should be excluded before taking the seat. In choosing a chief executive, exclusion itself protects the organisation.

Scope of Application

Scope

The OS supplies the structural reference that sharpens a decision. Appointment, succession and the design of the leadership structure all run on the same coordinates. The final decision rests with the client, under its own criteria.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions on Executive Selection

How does this differ from performance reviews or 360-degree feedback?

Performance reviews record results in roles already held. This analysis works from date of birth and sex alone and shows, as structure, fit with the next role, the dynamics between two people and the timing of appointment. The two measure different things and work best together.

Can several successor candidates be ranked?

Yes. Candidates are set on one standard, each shown with fit to the role type and the course of their timing overlaid. The only input per candidate is date of birth and sex.

Can external candidates be assessed on the same standard?

Yes. With date of birth and sex as the sole input, internal and external candidates — however long or short their careers — compare side by side on one standard.

Does it inform the timing of appointment?

Yes. Appoint the same person in a different year, and the first three years unfold differently. Phases to advance and phases to consolidate are shown year by year.

How is this different from fortune-telling?

Conventional frameworks plot a decision on a single line from past to future. This OS adds the coordinates of person, time and space and computes them under fixed rules. The same input yields the same structure, whoever runs it.

Can the whole leadership team be assessed together?

Yes. The corporate Spacetime Databank sets executive candidates, leadership structures and partner decision-makers on one standard, making overlaps and gaps visible.

Do you need the subject's name?

No. A report can be commissioned under a case code, with date of birth and sex alone. In that case the institute never receives the name and never holds it.

Will the result be the same whoever runs it?

Yes. The computed classification is independent of the analyst. Every analysis records the OS version and the database version: same input, same versions — same structure.
