Akechi Mitsuhide
Discovered by his lord and given a castle, he rose until a whole province was entrusted to him. On a summer morning he struck that lord down. The realm he had seized slipped from him in just eleven days. The destinies of lord and retainer were bound in a form that held each other up. Why did he cut that support himself? And why does the greatest upheaval of his life appear in the ten years after his death?

Research Brief

- The one who served as that embankment was his lord.
- Lord and retainer each carried the energy that supported the other.
- The day he struck down his lord was a day when the energy that supports him came round.
- The greatest upheaval of his life was placed in the ten years after his death.
