Shuri
The lead of the morning drama Boogie Woogie, and Newcomer of the Year at the Japan Academy Film Prize. An actress whose parents are Yutaka Mizutani and Ran Ito. She began ballet at four and went to Britain at fifteen, but injury closed the path of dance. From there she turned to acting and stood on the same stage as her parents. On 2 October 2023 the curtain rose on her lead in a morning serial drama of song and dance. On that day the star her destiny welcomes most stood at once in three layers of time: the decade, the year and the day. Her ten-year flow was about to make a major turn. With a destiny that does not succeed its parents, why does she walk the same road as they did? We read her thirty-six years against the phases of destiny and time.

Research Brief
What the case shows
- Her destiny carries a structure of walking a road separate from her parents’. Upon that, she follows the same acting path as both of them. Within the family, she sits in a position where her father’s opinion works most strongly.
- The setback at fifteen coincides with a star that stumbles once in youth and rises again from there. Her other star is one that boldly changes form, unbound by experience, and stands at the summit.
- The twenty years from fifteen are a period of void fortune, yet elements supporting her destiny overlap within them. Within this span her own power reaches its lifetime peak.
- On 2 October 2023, the star her destiny’s grade welcomes most stood at once in three layers: the decade, the year and the day.
- In autumn 2025 her ten-year flow turns, and she enters a period of elements that place a load on her destiny. Her marriage and childbirth are placed at that boundary.
