Takako Matsu
Long Vacation, Love Generation, HERO, Confessions — and Elsa in Frozen, singing Let It Go. Born the second daughter of Matsumoto Hakuo II into the Koraiya kabuki house, with Matsumoto Koshiro X as her elder brother, she first stepped onto the Kabukiza stage at sixteen in her father's production. Then she went outside a world in which women do not perform, and for thirty years stood at the front line of television, film, song and voice acting. Why did someone who received the full grace of her house reach her summit outside its art? And what overlapped on 14 March 2014, the day Elsa's voice became a national phenomenon in Japan? We read it against the phases of destiny and time.

Research Brief
What the case shows
- Her destiny is built to receive, in full, the grace her family line has stored up.
- At the same time, it carries the fortune to step outside the frame of that line and open her own way.
- Her fortune began to move from her father’s stage.
- The twenty years she spent at the front line were placed in a time when no support ran.
- 14 March 2014 was a day on which support and burden were bound together, and her fortune ignited in an instant.
